Did you listen to Paula on Ryan's radio show? Near the end she admits that she and Cowell didn't hear Jason sing his first song. They were busy getting paper and pen to make notes. Cowell said -who went first? He didn't sing anything. Cowell said that after Jason had already sung his first (and best) song!!
